National News: After Operation Sindoor, the Indian armies are now moving towards a joint discussion to further strengthen the country's security system and combat capability. In this sequence, a national-level Ran Samvad 2025 is being organized on the joint initiative of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The seminar is scheduled for 26 and 27 August at the Army War College in Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Nagar, Mhow, Madhya Pradesh.
The objective of this national dialogue is not only to consider traditional warfare strategies but also to understand the challenges of changing times and the impact of modern technology on warfare. High-ranking officers of all three services—Army, Navy, and Air Force—will attend the seminar. Along with this, experts associated with the defense industry, academicians and international representatives will also present their views.
The main focus of the discussion will be on how India's forces can become more effective in the coming years through combat policy, strategic innovation, and emerging technology. Drones, cyber warfare, artificial intelligence, and modern weapon systems will be important topics of this dialogue.
On the second day of the seminar, 27 August, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will attend in person, accompanied by CDS General Anil Chauhan, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, and Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Amarpreet Singh. The presence of these top military officials will give special importance to this event.
Special security arrangements have been put in place because of the presence of top officials and the importance of the event. Mhow and its surrounding areas have been declared a no-fly zone from 26 to 28 August during the event. No drone or other flying device will be used there during this period.
Experts believe that such dialogues not only prepare the armies for future challenges but also give rise to new thinking towards indigenous technology and self-reliant India in the defense sector. The suggestions and strategies emerging from Rann Samvad 2025 can give a new direction to India's defense policy and combat preparedness in the times to come.
This event is an indication that the Indian armed forces are keeping a close eye not only on the present but also on future possibilities and threats.
